CEBCO promotes a culture of wellness by ensuring employees have access to preventive healthcare services, comprehensive wellness programs and resources designed to improve health outcomes and encourage healthy lifestyles of members and their families.

Key wellness initiatives include:

Comprehensive Preventive Care Coverage: Covered preventive services through network providers are available without cost-sharing, including annual wellness exams, mammograms, colonoscopies, pelvic exams, immunizations, PSA testing, diabetic eye exams, and annual vision and hearing exams.

Wellness Grant Program: Annual wellness grant funding is provided to each county, with funding levels based on county size, empowering local wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities.

County Wellness Partnerships: Each county appoints a Wellness Contact who works with the CEBCO Benefit Specialists to develop and implement wellness programs tailored to the  employee needs of that county.

Education and Collaboration: CEBCO supports wellness promotion through educational materials, resource sharing, and semi-annual meetings that encourage collaboration and the exchange of best practices among counties.

Health Management Programs: Incentive-based wellness programs motivate employees to take an active role in their health while providing support through condition care, disease management, healthy family initiatives, utilization management services, health reminders, and 24/7 nurse access.
